Mish’s Global Economic Trend Analysis- Mike “Mish” Shedlock’s blog on market analysis. His posts go deep, are well supported by data and charts, and are easy to understand.

The Market Ticker – Karl Denninger’s blog. Daily posts on our economy and the markets that are well researched and always a pleasure to read. Highly recommended.

Euro Pacific Capital – Peter Schiff’s site. Peter Schiff has predicted the crash of 2008 years ago, and has been bearish on the dollar for quite some time. His analysis is straight forward and he’s not afraid to express what needs to be done to get us out of this mess, even though his opinion is often unpopular. Check out his weekly Economic Commentary, good read.

Come Into My Trading Room: A Complete Guide to Trading – by Alexander Elder. Very good book, with a lot of practical advice on how to become a good trader. Covers money management very well. Highly recommended.

How to Make Profits In Commodities – by W. D. Gann. Fascinating book written by the legendary trader Gann.

Trading Commodities and Financial Future: A Step by Step Guide to Mastering the Markets – by George Kleinmann. Good introduction to commodities futures.

Reminiscences of a Stock Operator – by Edwin Lefèvre. A must read for every trader. I learned more from this book about trading than from any other.
